01 Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("SocialPost," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the SocialPost.online website, dashboard, and related services (together, the "Services").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who this is for. The Services are built for content creators and businesses who connect their own social media accounts to schedule, publish, and monetize content. Where you connect an account or upload content, you are responsible for having the rights to do so.

02 Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide

  • Account details — name, email address, username, password, and profile information.
  • Creator profile — niche, bio, links, and any business details you add to your workspace.
  • Content — posts, captions, images, video, schedules, and drafts you create, upload, or queue for publishing.
  • Payment and payout details — billing information and the information needed to send you earnings (see Section 06).
  • Support communications — messages you send us and the contents of those exchanges.

Information from your connected accounts

When you link a social media account, we receive access credentials and the data those platforms make available through their APIs. This is covered in detail in Section 03.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — features used, posts scheduled, publishing results, and interactions with the dashboard.
  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 07.

03 Connected social accounts

The core of SocialPost is connecting your social media channels so you can publish to them from one place. When you authorize a connection (for example to Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, or LinkedIn), the platform grants us access through its official API.

What we access

  • Access tokens — the secure credentials that let us publish or schedule on your behalf. We store these in encrypted form and never share your raw passwords; we don't receive them.
  • Account and profile data — handles, profile details, and connected page or channel identifiers.
  • Publishing and performance data — the status of posts we publish and, where the platform allows, engagement metrics used to power your analytics.
Each platform has its own rules. Your use of connected platforms is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. We use platform data only to provide the Services you request, and in line with each platform's developer requirements. You can disconnect any account at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our ongoing access.

04 How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including scheduling and publishing your content.
  • Process payments and pay out creator earnings.
  • Generate analytics and reporting about your content's performance.
  • Authenticate you, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
  • Send service and transactional messages, and — where permitted — marketing you can opt out of.
  • Improve and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, we rely on a lawful basis for each use, such as performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests, or compliance with a legal obligation.

05 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

  • Connected social platforms — we transmit your content and instructions to the platforms you choose to publish to.
  • Service providers — hosting, storage, analytics, communications, and security vendors who process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Payment processors — to bill you and to deliver your earnings (see Section 06).
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of SocialPost, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

06 Payments & creator income

Because the Services help you earn income, we handle billing and payout information with particular care.

  • Billing — subscription and transaction processing is handled by [PAYMENT PROCESSOR]. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
  • Payouts — to send your earnings, we (or our payout partner) may collect bank or payout-account details and, where required, tax identification information.
  • Tax reporting — we may be legally required to collect tax forms and report certain earnings to tax authorities.

Your financial information is shared with payment partners only as needed to complete these functions and is subject to their own privacy practices.

07 Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and understand how the dashboard is used. Some are essential; others are analytics or preference cookies you can control.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our in-product cookie controls. Disabling some cookies may limit functionality.

08 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After that, we retain information only as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required. Disconnecting a social account revokes our access tokens for that platform.

09 Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of access tokens, encrypted transport, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account by using a strong, unique password and enabling any available extra security options.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

11 International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it as required by applicable law.

12 Children's privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Services or by email. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
